A finished basement with no defined purpose, reworked into a structured and functional home theater.
This home theater installation in Arlington, Virginia started with a finished basement that had no defined purpose. A clean, functional space in the heart of Northern Virginia was reworked from the ground up into a structured and immersive home theater, designed to seat up to seven people comfortably. Our team organized the room around a clear viewing axis, introduced a raised platform to define seating geometry and improve sightlines, and integrated in-wall speakers to maintain a clean, unobtrusive aesthetic. The result is a dedicated media room in Arlington that balances performance with everyday usability — a space that works as hard for film nights as it does for family gatherings.
Designated space was intended as a standard media room. Not a Home Theater
